Community Chaplaincy Listening Service

James Falconer, Community Chaplain currently comes to the practice on a Wednesday morning to offer an active listenining service.  GPs will refer patients to him who they feel might benefit from sessions with him.  James has a nursing and chaplaincy background and offers 2 x 50 minutes appointments per week for patients who require someone to talk to.  Religion does not come into it unless the patient requests it and everything said is confidential - no information is fed back to the GP unless James suspects they are at risk/harm.
